The United States is “on great mission to rid the world of evil 1”. This is what Bush and other US officials proclaim; however to their despair, the world now is disillusioned as the United States’ intentions clearly reveal themselves.

The US has long held itself up as guardian of human rights and global peace and appeared contemptuous of tyrant governments. Nevertheless, it is the very basic human rights that US policies have long been violating vehemently.

In order to achieve economic and military dominance - imperialism- on a world wide scale, these necessary illusions become inevitable for American policy.
